Cardiovascular System

The cardiovascular system can be thought of as the transport system of the body. The system has three main components: the heart, the blood vessels and the blood itself. The primary function is to provide oxygen to and remove waste from tissues and organs.

With ongoing biomedical research elucidating the structure and function of the cells that make up the heart, blood, and blood vessels (arteries, capillaries and veins), and hundreds of scientific articles being published weekly, researchers continue to understand more and more about the cardiovascular system, particularly during disease development. Research has, and will continue to lead to incredible advances in how we diagnose, prevent and treat cardiovascular disorders and diseases such as congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease, and cardiomyopathy.

Cardiovascular disease research requires a great diversity of life science products. We are dedicated to developing cutting edge research products to aid in the study of cardiovascular system, including monoclonal antibodies, polyclonal antibodies, antibody conjugates, proteins, immunoassays, and small molecule inhibitors.
