StressMarq Biosciences, founded in 2007, is a research bioreagents company producing high-quality, cutting-edge research products for the life sciences and discovery research markets. Our diverse portfolio of antibodies, proteins, immunoassay kits, and small molecules are utilized across a range of biomedical research fields including neuroscience, cancer research, and cell signaling.

In recent years, StressMarq has become the market leader in the development and commercialization of a range of fibrillized and oligomeric protein preparations for use in neurodegenerative disease research including Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases. Within the company, we have three divisions – Operations, Sales & Marketing, and Laboratory. Within the Laboratory division, we have 3 departments – Antibodies & Kits, Proteins, and R&D.



Technical Operations Administrator

Position Type: Full-time, annual contract (with potential for extension)

Reports To: Operations & Data Science Manager

Responsibilities and Impact

  • Operations & Logistics: While ensuring smooth daily operations, you’ll also ensure that products are delivered in a timely manner to meet the specific needs of ongoing research projects. You’ll manage inventory, track shipments, and process orders, ensuring that our customers have access to the materials they need. You’ll be responsible for balancing multiple priorities while ensuring critical operational activities stay on track. Success in this role requires strong judgment, attention to detail and the ability to adapt when priorities shift.
  • Data & Reporting: Assist in analyzing experimental data when needed, cross-referencing inventory counts with product use and maintaining accurate records.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with internal teams, including Sales & Marketing, R&D, and Manufacturing. Support the lab in maintaining accurate product inventories and ensuring the right tools and reagents are available for ongoing experiments. You will serve as one of the points of coordination across departments, helping teams stay aligned, communicating updates clearly, and contributing to a positive, solutions-focused work environment.

What You’ll Bring to the Table

We’re looking for a candidate who is highly organized, confident, and able to effectively manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment. You are a strong communicator, a critical thinker, and someone who remains positive and resourceful when faced with unexpected challenges. Here’s what we’re hoping you can bring:

  • Education & Experience: A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in fields such as Neuroscience, Biology or Biochemistry. A background in Business/Logistics or Commerce is also an asset.
  • Prioritization & Organization: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, shifting priorities, and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: You’ll need to effectively communicate technical information to diverse audiences, ensuring researchers can apply products successfully in their work. You’ll also need to collaborate closely with internal teams to relay any issues, feedback, and updates clearly and professionally.
  • Tech-Savvy: You’re proficient in the tools necessary to track product orders, shipments, and inventories, and ideally have familiarity with Sage 50 Accounting, FedEx Ship Manager, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Technical Expertise: A solid understanding of the scientific principles behind our products (e.g., antibodies, proteins, immunoassay kits) and how they are used in research experiments.
