Scientific Background Pyr3 is a pyrazole compound that selectively inhibits TRPC3 channels. It blocks B cell receptor-induced calcium oscillations and attenuates NFAT activation and hypertrophic growth in cardiac myocytes. In neuroscience, Pyr3 is used to study TRPC3-mediated calcium signaling in neurons, synaptic plasticity, and its potential role in neurodegenerative and neuroinflammatory disorders.
