Biological Description

JG-13 blocks Hsc70-Bag1 interactions in vitro, with IC50 of 10 μM. It reduces both phosphorylated and total tau in tau overexpressed HeLa cells. JG-13 is an active anti-cancer compound, with IC50s in 0.5 – 2 μM against MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231 cells. It is microsomal stable, with half life of 30 min.
