Biological Description

JG-48 reduces both phosphorylated and total tau in tau-overexpressed HeLa cells, endogenous tau in neuroblastoma cells. The reduction of tau depends on Hsp70 and the proteasome. JG-48 also recovers long-term potentiation deficits in brain slices from rTg4510 mice.
